Pumpkins for the Planet

The Ottawa South Eco-Action Network (OSEAN)’s
initiative is back again this year! In the week following Halloween, OSEAN will be collecting carved and intact pumpkins in Ottawa South and connecting them with local farms and kitchens. In doing so, we combat food insecurity while diverting them from the City compost facility and the landfill. Details about where to drop off your pumpkins will be available on the OSEAN website.
