Attention Hockey Moms and Hockey Dads, and Olympic skater hopefuls! We are fortunate to have a free rink in our hood for extra practice and fun, but the Balena Park Rink needs volunteers to assist with rink Maintenance.
The City requires our rink to be supervised by volunteers 20 hours per week. No experience necessary! This could be 2-3 hours per weekday evening, and 4-5 hours per weekend day or whatever other combination works. If you are able and willing to help supervise, or assist with rink maintenance, please email Trevor at balenarink@gmail.com
Include your preferred day of the week, and how many hours you can supervise or how you are able to assist with rink maintenance, i.e., shoveling and/or flooding the rink.
