A group of residents gathered May 21st for a spontaneous party to mark the loss of a favourite mature tree on the corner of Dorion and Lennox Park Avenue. The stump remained a year after the derecho stormed through and downed this tree. Craig Cormier honoured the tree with a tongue-in-cheek ode to Stumpy and the derecho and this followed by a sing-a-long with neighbours.
