City-Based Climate Action

The Community Associations for Environmental Sustainability (CAFES) Annual General Meeting (AGM) is taking place tonight (March 21) at 7pm. It will feature former Toronto mayor David Miller speaking about city-based climate action. Miller is now the managing director of the C40 Centre for Urban Climate Policy and Economy. The AGM will also include a panel discussion including Ottawa City Councillors Moffat and Menard who serve as the chair and vice-char respectively of the City of Ottawa Environment Committee. The discussion will be moderated by Gillian Koh from the Hintonburg Community Association. The focus of the panel discussion will be Forward Environment Agenda.
