With the review of Ottawa’s Official Plan currently underway and reviews of the major plans that will follow (Transportation Master Plan, Infrastructure Master Plan, Ottawa Cycling Plan, and others) it might be helpful to remind residents of a valuable online program called geoOttawa. This is a mapping tool with many different overlays available, including zoning information, historical air photos dating back to 1928, cycling and pedestrian pathways and more. Take some time to explore all that geoOttawa has to offer and you might gain a new perspective on your city.

It may inspire you to add your voice and help shape the future of Ottawa through public engagement projects like the Official Plan Review and the Rental Accommodations Study to name a few. There are several discussion papers here, which can be used to help begin the process.
