Believe it or not, spring is here and summer is just around the corner. It’s time to get out of the house and help make Ottawa the green capital of Canada!

We’ve got a jam-packed season of events, and we’re kicking it all off with two big ones on Saturday, April 21 – our second annual Ottawa Park Summit and Earth Day Party. We want you to join us, but spots are filling up fast. If you haven’t done so, RSVP for the summit and buy your ticket to the party today!

Happening from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at allsaints Ottawa (10 Blackburn Ave. in Sandy Hill), the second annual Ottawa Park Summit will be the largest park gathering in Ottawa. Learn from inspiring initiatives in parks across Ottawa, make connections with community leaders and generate ideas for ongoing participation and community-building in parks. Learn more about our amazing speakers here.

Thanks to the support of TD Bank and Park People, the event is free, but registration is required. RSVP today.

After the summit, celebrate Earth Day with us at the Earth Day Party, which opens its doors at 8:00 p.m. at 25One Community (251 Bank St.). Come mingle with your fellow environmentalists, grab some food and drinks, win some great door prizes and dance the night away. The event is sponsored by the Art House Café.

Tickets are only $15. Grab yours today.

We can’t wait to celebrate Earth Day with you.

P.S: We have eight spots remaining for the Ecology Ottawa Leadership Training on April 28-29 and May 12. It’s a series of free training sessions on engagement organizing, civics and local environmental issues. Find out more and register today.
